Welcome Citizen, T-Shirts for sale!
I have finally begun to clear the detritus from my mind hard drive, cleaning up all the little arty pieces laying around here and there, and placing them on t-shirts. I've had my sample tees from Printfection for a while now, they're wonderfully printed, and hold up really well after repeated washings.

A fish, a fish, a fish, that went wherever I did go.
It's a fish, and it's colorful, need I say more?
Why not?
I wonder where that fish has gone?
You did love it so.
You looked after it like a son.
And it went wherever I did go.
Is it in the cupboard?
Yes! Yes! No!
Wouldn't you like to know?
It was a lovely little fish.
And it went wherever I did go.

Bandits - Beulah
Having a little fun here - part pin-up, part fun with reverse Engrish. The horizontal Kanji says, if Google translate is correct, Milk Delivery. The vertical Kanji says Joy Time. Seagulls, flight, toothpaste and Beulah, what more could you ask for?
She's blond and beautiful - Beautiful Beulah, hubba hubba.

SpeedBunny
SpeedBunny. Don't ask me what it means. I dunno. It looks cool, something in an Art Deco vein.
It's the cat's meow, 23 Skidoo, certainly not like the man who fought the monkey in a dustbin, know what I mean?.

Scythian mummy tattoo - 500 BC
My rendition of a tattoo found on the mummified remains of a Scythian chieftain. This bad-ass Chieftan was unearthed from a Kurgan burial mound in the Altai Mountains in Siberia. He was alive circa 500 BC. The original tattoo design had the hind legs of the stag twisted around unnaturally in what archeologists believe is an indication of a killed, or hunted animal. I chose to reverse the legs,
make the design more stylized and revitalize the stag in a tribute to the chieftain and his prey. Here's to a tattoo artist creating amazing designs so far ahead of his time. Cheers mate.
See the original source material for yourself. (opens in a new window) I may do another drawing from this work.

Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead - Sugar Skull
Celebrate the day of the dead. Wave your Marigolds, eat a few sugar skulls and have a shot of Tequila or two while sporting a tee with a colorful and sacred painted skull. It's tradition to remember someone you know who has passed over with a recounting of something that made them memorable, a character flaw or quirky behavior, something funny.
Drawing the roses took up a ton of time but it was worth it. The roses make for great eyes!

Cool Cat - the coolest, most aloof cat
Cool Cat, a highly stylized drawing of an orange cat we used to have, Wasabi. Wasabi was a lunatic, hyperactive and batshit crazy. I used to call him Little Buddy, just like the skipper called Gilligan little buddy, because wherever I went, no matter what I was doing, there was my little buddy tagging along. He was usually skulking around just waiting for the right moment to pounce and attack whatever it was I was working on, and ruin it. Aaargh! I drew my little buddy looking aloof, hanging out with me here. I never drew him with the intention of him becoming a logo, but I liked him so much
I started putting him on my letterhead, invoices and now a t-shirt.

Tillie in Asbury Park, New Jersey - or was.
Tillie, the kinda fun, kinda creepy face from the old Palace Amusements building in good ol'Asbury. There were attempts to save a lot of the old building but places like Palace Amusements were torn down in the name of "Progress". Tillie was "saved" and is apparently rotting away in a shed somewhere. So if you, like me, have a lot of memories hanging out at the Jersey shore, you'll want a Tillie for yourself.
There aren't too many photos of Tillie, I scavenged all that I could find and made a composite image. I compensated for distortion since all the photos were shot at street level looking up, and usually at an angle, never head-on. I then traced the composite photo in illustrator, used a variety of color samples to average, then filled in my drawing.
